Debit Card & Ticketing

This is a combination of add-on modules to the AEK Membership Management system. The Debit component permits balances on file to be used by the customer over a period of time. The Ticket component creates the desired tickets or cards and uses Debit Card to determine their validity when scanned.

Features

Credit card numbers or checking accounts may be entered manually at the keyboard or magnetically read using an optional reader. The charge is automatically validated via one or more modems connected to your main UNIX/VMS/NT server or via a connected PC on a Novell or NT network.

Charge slip receipts for signing are generated immediately on any printer. All transaction information is recorded and printed automatically within the AEK application you choose to interface.

Multiple Sites may validate bankcard charges and check verifications through fewer shared phone line and modem combinations. This system will save money by eliminating multiple stand-alone devices and phone lines, by performing all related accounting and data storage right in your AEK application, and by reducing off-line balancing problems.

Check Verification may be licensed similar to Bankcard Validation. Check Verification verifies that bank checks offered in payment have balances to cover the purchase before the customer leaves the cash register. The same modems used for Bankcard Validation may be used for Check Verification. However, separate license fees are required as this is a unique application and must be setup and maintained separately from Bankcard Validation.

Several certified MAPP providers are suggested to act as the required electronic clearing house between AEK Bankcard Validation or Check Verification and your depository bank.
